Did Lana Del Rey Redeem Herself On Letterman?

If you were to "admit" to a grand jury that you weren't slightly obsessed with America's newest cultural icon 25-year-old singer Lana Del Rey, you'd be committing some major perjury! However, Lana is also plagued by haters who question her authenticity as well as her musical ability. Matters were made worse when Rey appeared on SNL to sing "Video Games" earlier last month. The singer's SNL debut was a TOTAL bomb.  Expecting to hear her sweet and provacative voice, audiences and critics alike were dissappointed as Rey's voice more closely resembled James Earl Jones.

In light of the SNL fail, Lana appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night... and boy did she deliver! Looking elegant and Brigitte Bardot-esqe in a conservative white dress, we were able to hear the sultry voice of a young woman again instead of Darth Vader!

We hope that critics can finally cut her some slack with the latest perfomance. I mean, everyone has their off days and if I had to sing on SNL, I would probably have peed myself and lost my voice!
