Would You Watch 'Back To The Future'... The Musical?

Well folks, it seems as if Marty McFly has hopped back into the DeLorean and may be landing on a Broadway stage sometime soon. According to Entertainment Weekly, the creative team behind the 1985 classic Back to the Future is seriously considering a musical adaptation.
EW reports that producer and director Robert Zemeckis (also known for Romancing the Stone, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Forrest Gump), and co-writers Bob Gale and Alan Silvestri are in 'preliminary creative discussions.' However, Zemeckis is currently very busy with his upcoming film, Flight so it's still a plan and not definitive.
Of course, the musical wouldn't star the lovable Michael J. Fox as Marty and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, which to me is pretty hard to picture and to be perfectly honest, I'm not so sure how well this classic would work out on the stage. I mean, did anyone really go to see Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark?
Do you think Back to the Future should be adapted for the stage? Would you go see it?
